the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Telemetry RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry
Duration: 13 or 26 weeks contract option Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a
large urban hospital License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
required; NIH and CPI preferred Must-Have: - EPIC charting
experience - 2 years of prior experience required - Float within
scope to meet facility needs Description: 36 or 48-hour schedule
options are available. Travelers are expected to float frequently
to meet staffing needs. The unit is a 49-bed specialty
medical/surgical unit. It provides fast-paced care and
opportunities for professional growth. Staff will care for stable
heart and lung transplant patients, as well as patients with
Ventricular Assist Devices. The patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5
during the day and 1:6 at night. Night ratios can occasionally be
1:7. Required competencies include the management of drips and
telemetry monitoring. Previous experience in managing vasoactive
drips and titration is desired. Weekend shifts will consist of 4
out of 8 possible shifts over a 4-week period. Travelers must work
2 out of 3 major holidays. Requested time off must be included at
the time of application. The facility is 100% nicotine-free.
Additional details regarding scrubs and compliance will be provided
to confirmed candidates. The unit has interdisciplinary support
including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services. Staff is
