Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with an active IA or compact license and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications for a night shift contract. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an Emergency Room setting with a focus on acute patient care - Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Weekend shifts required every third weekend - May float within the same discipline across local campuses if census is low in the ER - Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience is beneficial - Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care - Required to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving) - Only 1 day of time off may be requested between November 26-30 or December 23-January 2 regardless of holidays worked - Orientation consists of 16 hours - First-time travelers are not eligible for this role /n /n Requirements/n - Active IA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration - Minimum of 2 years of prior Emergency Department RN experience - At least 1 prior travel contract completed - Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC required - Proof of active certifications at time of consideration, pending certifications not accepted - One supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-652138.
