Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated, experienced Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead our respiratory services team across our integrated healthcare network, including inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor will oversee all aspects of respiratory care services, ensuring the provision of the highest quality of care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, guiding, and training a team of respiratory therapists and support staff, while also collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate and enhance patient care across the organization. Supervise and manage the respiratory therapy team across various settings within the organization. Develop and implement respiratory therapy procedures and protocols in alignment with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to integrate respiratory services with overall patient care plans. Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of respiratory care treatments. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team competencies and ensure high standards. Manage administrative duties including staffing, scheduling, and compliance. Evaluate new respiratory therapy techniques and technologies for potential adoption. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in respiratory therapy techniques and equipment Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams Skillful in organizing and multi-tasking with attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Active state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
