Doctor of Medicine | Cardiology - Electrophysiology Location: Sioux City, IA Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 15 Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist for a 25-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa, starting Nov 14, 2025. This full-time opportunity features weekday day shifts with 20 shifts per month, including 2 to 3 OR days per week and shared call responsibilities. Job Details Location: Iowa Start Date: Nov 14, 2025 LOA: 25 days Provider Type Needed: Cardiac Electrophysiologist Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm; 20 shifts per month; 2 to 3 OR days per week; weekend call as needed, shared with 3 interventionalists Responsibilities and Duties Conduct clinic visits for new and established patients Perform electrophysiology procedures and device monitoring (loop recorders, pacemakers, ICDs) Manage in-clinic device transmissions and reprogramming Participate in general call coverage Oversee post-procedure and established patient care Collaborate with an EP Physician Assistant to manage patient volumes Additional Information Board certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology required Fellowship training in Electrophysiology required Active Iowa license or active IMLC with LOQ required Clean malpractice history required Open to board-eligible or new graduates Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
