Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,534 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68101! ID: 75283003 Shift: 10H Days 4 10s M-F. Call10-13 days a month, including weekends. Description: Unit : IR (RN)*Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Preferred: PALS)*Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * * - of suites/labs: 1- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Diagnostics, Embo's, Carotid Stents, Thrombectomies- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have a least 2 years of experience in IR, ICU, or ER. Neuro experience preferred- EMR/Equipment: EPIC & Siemens - Artis Icono- Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes- IR Techs? Yes, Neuro IR techs- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 0730-1630 // cyclic scheduling- Weekend/Call Requirements: Call only with rotation- Holiday/Call Requirements: Call only with rotation- Floating Requirements: May float all over in Radiology - helping start IVs, transport, file room coverage. May have to float (during scheduled shift here) to Immanuel if a stroke comes in or another IR case that needs covered- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2 weeks- Additional Notes: Attributes that will help a nurse be successful in this department include being reliable, flexible, personable, professional, and patient orientedRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
