Job Description ProKatchers is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Norfolk, Nebraska. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift:/n/nDays, 06:30 AM - 18:00 PM & 14:00 PM - 23:30 PM /n /nWork Experience:/n/n /n/t - Performs Computed Tomography procedures to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. /n/t - The CT Technologist works effectively with patients and patients' families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. /n/t - Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the Diagnostic Imaging department as defined in the scope of practice, to assure that the unique nature of the patient is addressed. /n/t - This includes but is not limited to the age of the patient served. /n/t - Positions patient and/or equipment to efficiently obtain high quality images. /n/t - Select proper scanning procedure for each CT according to radiologist protocols. /n/t - Perform proper views for each exam according to department protocol. /n/t - Under direction of a physician, administer appropriate contrast agents according to department protocol and maintain current knowledge of these agents and their indications/contraindications. /n/t - Ensure appropriate consent forms are signed by the patient or responsible party for contrast procedures. /n/t - Assist physician/students/technologists with CT procedures. /n/t - Coordinate procedures with appropriate departments and personnel as needed. /n/t - Maintain technical skills relating to imaging factors. /n/t - Maintain knowledge of anatomy and pathology in order to produce high quality images. /n /n/n /nEducation:/n/nGraduate of an accredited school of Radiology /n /nLicense:/n/nCurrent Medical Radiographer license from the State of Nebraska./n/n /nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification.
