Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a local contract job in Sioux City, Iowa. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Perm - Dietitian - Hospital (Days) Sioux City, IA Unit / Floor: Hospice Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $40.00 $10,000 Sign-On Possible PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM Responsibilities: • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable PACE Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, the Compliance Accountability Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to assure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior. • Obtains and evaluates nutritional and medical history, laboratory data, test results, current medications, current diet orders and nutritional regimen to determine participant’s estimated nutritional needs. • Recommends and implements nutrition interventions that assist in maintaining or improving nutritional-related medical diagnoses. • Completes nutrition assessments for participants per regulatory guidelines and when needed to assist in developing participant’s plan of care and service delivery requests. • Instructs participants, family members, staff and contracted providers/facilities on diet, food safety and sanitation. • Documents pertinent participant information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and the participant plan of care. • Attends Interdisciplinary Team meetings daily and team activities when scheduled. • Performs other duties as assigned. Education: - Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and/or food and nutrition that meets or exceeds the requirement by the American Dietetic Association for the registration examination. - Successful completion of internship or coordinated undergraduate program that meets the American Dietetic Association guidelines.
