Join Cherokee Regional Medical Center and help reduce oral health disparities across Iowa through education, prevention, and community outreach. This is more than a clinical role—it’s an opportunity to serve underserved populations , partner with schools and community organizations, and promote lifelong oral health. ? What You’ll Do • Lead community oral health education & population-based screenings (32 hrs/week) • Provide preventive services through school-based sealant programs (8 hrs/week) • Educate children and families across daycares, preschools, and outreach clinics • Promote dental health equity and public health initiatives • Collaborate with community partners and public health teams What We’re Looking For • Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program • Registered Dental Hygienist (IA license preferred, not required) • BLS certified • 1 year of clinical dental hygiene experience • Passion for public health, education, and community service Why This Role Matters You’ll help improve access to care, empower communities through education, and make a measurable difference in children’s lives—while working within a mission-driven healthcare system.
