Enjoy the benefits of travel nursing in Sioux City, known for its welcoming community, affordable living, and proximity to the scenic Missouri River./n /n/nTravel Nursing Job Details/n /n - Location: Sioux City, IA 51104 (Iowa nursing jobs)/n - Unit: 6SW Post Critical – Cardiac Stepdown/n - Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-Site/n - Start Date: December 1, 2025/n - End Date: March 2, 2026/n - Duration: 13-week contract/n - Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week (every other weekend required)/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020/n - EMR: Cerner Powerchart/n - Patient Ratio: 1:5/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience/n - At least 1 completed travel nursing contract/n - Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact state license)/n - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS/n - Proven clinical skills in cardiac care, including titration of cardiac drips/n - Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities/n - Submission of updated resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, certifications, and 1 supervisory reference/n /n/nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown unit/n - Monitor and manage patients with CHF, post-cardiac angiogram, ablation, pacemaker, TEE, cardioversion, stroke, and cardiac drips (Nitro, Amiodarone, Cardiazem, Nirdipine, Heparin, Lidocaine)/n - Titrate cardiac drips and respond to changes in patient condition/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans/n - Float within the same nursing discipline across local Sioux City campuses as needed/n - Document patient care accurately using Cerner Powerchart EMR/n - Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as required/n /n/n Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse in Sioux City, Iowa, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
