Float Unit - Start Date: December 8, 2025 - End Date: March 9, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3
shifts/week (36 hours/week) - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd
weekend - EMR System: EPIC - Holiday Requirement: Work 2 of 3 major
winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving) - Estimated
Weekly Salary: $1,880 - $2,020 ER Registered Nurse Qualifications -
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience - At least 1
completed travel nursing contract - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in Iowa or Compact State - Current certifications: BLS
(AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC - Strong clinical skills; ability to
float within ER and Nursing Float Unit - Excellent communication
and teamwork skills - Required submission documents: work
history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license
verification, certifications, and one supervisory reference ER RN
Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care
to Emergency Room patients - Collaborate with interdisciplinary
healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care - Float between ER and Nursing Float Unit as needed - Document
patient care accurately using EPIC EMR - Respond promptly to
emergencies and deliver critical interventions - Ensure compliance
with hospital policies and procedures - Demonstrate flexibility in
scheduling, including working every 3rd weekend and required
