Unit: Nursing Float Unit – Med/Surg Telemetry - Position Type:
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Contract - Start Date: November 24,
2025 - End Date: February 23, 2026 - Assignment Length: 13 weeks -
Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week) -
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - EMR System: EPIC -
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020 Registered Nurse
Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN
experience - At least 1 completed travel nursing contract - Active
Iowa RN license or Compact State RN license (required for Iowa
healthcare jobs) - BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications - Willingness
to float to other Med/Surg units as needed - Submission of work
history/resume, recent skills checklist, license verification,
required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference - Proof of
taxable address (driver’s license, utility bill, lease/rental
agreement, etc.) Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities - Provide
high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry
unit - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to
coordinate patient care - Float within the Med/Surg discipline
across local campuses as needed - Accurately document patient care
using EPIC EMR - Participate in required holiday coverage (work 2
of 3 major winter holidays) - Ensure compliance with hospital
