Location: Avera Breast Center-Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular
Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay
range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent

Repayment:This position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan
Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save
money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from
Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster. Hours:
Monday-Friday 7AM - 5PM; Occasional Thursday's 7AM - 6PM;
Occasional Saturday's 7:45AM - 11:30AM; PRN, as needed You Belong

Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Responsible for operating
radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed
by physicians. May perform invasive diagnostic procedures according
to established standards and practices. What you will do - Prepares
and positions patients and explains imaging tests and promotes
breast health and education. - Adjusts equipment for images. -
Participates with mobile mammogram technology as scheduled. -
Documents processes and prepares images for Radiologist
interpretation and organizes reports after reading is complete, per
policy. - Assists with staff/student on-the-job training and
orientation. - Identifies, screens, interviews and prepares
patients prior to requested exam and/or procedure. - May assist
with performing invasive diagnostic procedures according to
established standards. - Participates in breast imaging quality
control and quality assurance. - Maintains supply ordering and
stocking including laundry. - Assists the interpreting physician
with interventional breast procedures. Essential Qualifications The
individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential job function satisfactorily including having visual
acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to
communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and
distinguish speech and other sounds. These requirements and those

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: -
Associate's Graduate of an accredited program in radiological
technology or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. - Radiography
(R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon
Hire and - Mammography (M) - American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) Required to work toward and complete
certification in Mammography within 1 Year Expectations and
