VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Anesthesiology.

• Description: Summary: CUMC is in need for CV anesthesiology locums to cover open heart thoracic vascular and structural heart cases. Must be TEE certified and cardiac anesthesiology fellowship preferred.Locums will be assisting with general OR in addition to above. Rate Caps for Submission:Malpractice Must be included in rates. Orientation 260 - half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour oforientation or training beyond 8 hours Hourly 520 - Per hour not OT Holiday 780 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT Nightly Call 1100 - Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis Holiday Nightly Call - 1650 - Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hoursgratis On Call Daily 4100 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - 6150 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratisCall Back 520 - Per hour ofpatient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSAterms. Holiday Call Back 780 - Per holiday hour of patient contacthours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms. Average callback: weekday 2-3h weekend 1-2hSchedule/Availability Requirements: ongoing coverage unrestricted overnight call and weekend call Monday - Friday 8-10 hour daysOpen dates:June 30 - July 11July 21 - July 25Facility Location: Creighton University Medical Center / Bergan Mercy 7500 Mercy Road Omaha NE 68124Setting:187 bed Level 1 Trauma / Academic Center 15 ORs in main 3 endoscopy suites 2 EP Lab / TEE / Invasive amp Non-invasive Cardiology / Neuro IR/ Bronch / MRI Lines / Obstetrics Duties:FTE: 1.0Required Procedures:EMR: EPICSupport Staff:Reason for Coverage: current locums cancelled Deal Breakers: must be Tee certified Travel Preferences:Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotelsAir Travel: Local preferred but not requiredCredentialing Information:Timeframe: 60 - 90 daysRequirements:Must have completed an approved ACGME or International equivalent CV anesthesia fellowship AND achieved at least testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography NBEIf fellowship trained applicants are not available new hire must have at least five years documented CV Anesthesia experience with letters of recommendations from both anesthesiologists and CV surgeons AND achieved testamur status in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography as defined by NBECredentialing with other facilities?
