Job Description:
Responsible for providing pulmonary care to critical,
non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal
patients under physician supervision.
Perform patient assessments and implement respiratory therapy plans
across hospital areas.
Conduct technical and diagnostic procedures such as airway
management, ventilator setup, blood gas analysis, and airway device
placement.
Respond to emergencies, manage airway devices, administer
aerosolized drugs, and monitor therapeutic devices like BiPAP and
CPAP.
Perform advanced skills including pulmonary function testing,
bronchoscopy assistance, waveform analysis, and nocturnal SpO2
evaluations.
Maintain accurate documentation, clean and stock equipment, and
participate in survey preparations.
May serve as Shift or Team Leader, with work schedule varying and
per diem opportunities available.
Requires RT or RCP licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and
1-3 years of experience preferred.
