Job Opportunity: Locum Anesthesiologist Join a dynamic healthcare team in Sioux City, Iowa! Our facility is a Level 2 trauma center with a focus on providing exceptional surgical services in a hospital-based environment. We are seeking a dedicated Locum Anesthesiologist to fill a recent vacancy due to retirement. With an experienced staff and modern amenities, you will have the opportunity to practice in a setting that fosters collaboration and high-quality patient care. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesiology services for adult and geriatric patients during general surgical cases.
• Supervise experienced CRNAs in a nearly 100% supervision capacity.
• Perform various procedures including Minor Nerve Blocks, Epidural Anesthesia, and Complex Orthopedic Cases.
• Manage acute volume/blood pressure issues and perform pain management procedures.
• Consult on pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care as needed.
• Participate in a call rotation with a ratio of 1 in 5 for weekends.
• Engage with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required).
  • Experience in a hospital setting, preferably with trauma and surgical cases.
  • Ability to manage a variety of anesthesia procedures including complex ones.
  • Strong communication skills and capacity for teamwork.
  • 2 professional references required at the time of presentation. License and Certification Requirements:
    • Current state medical license (open to candidates from all states).
