Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.Job Title: Occupational & Sunbelt StaffingLocation: Near Watertown, SDJob Summary:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions to patients with various physical and cognitive disabilities, aiming to improve their functional abilities and independence in daily living activities.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities, cognitive skills, and functional needs to develop individualized treatment plans.Implement therapeutic interventions, including activities of daily living (ADLs) training, sensory integration, motor skills development, and adaptive equipment training.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to ensure coordinated care.Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and home exercise programs.Monitor patient progress, document findings, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory standards.Qualifications:Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent state license as an Occupational TherapistProven experience in providing occupational therapy services to a diverse patient populationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their familiesStrong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamPreferred Skills:Experience in School or Pediatric SettingsProficiency in using assistive technology and adaptive equipmentKnowledge of current evidence-based practices in occupational therapyby Jobble
