Job Quick Facts Specialty: Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery Facility Location: Sioux City, IA Board Requirement: BC Experience is required; not accepting fresh grads License Requirement: IA (can accept IMLC w/ letter) Other Requirement: DEA Reason for Need: Vacation coverage Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: Feb. 12 - Mar. 01, 2021 Call Schedule: 24-hr Call Shifts needed to be filled: - Feb 12 (12p) to Feb. 15 (12p) - Feb. 25 (12p) to Mar. 01 (12p) Call Volume (ER): 1 per week Roundings included: 6-7 patients/day Age of Patients: Adults Physician working solo: Yes Support Staff: Surgical services, radiology and many other depts and units throughout the hospital. Required Procedures: Cardio and Vascular - NOT expecting endovascular; facility has an interventional radiologist to do the angiograms. Beds in Dept: 216 Trauma Level: II Other info: - As long as the Physician can OPERATE, not a whole lot of busy work needed. - There will be NO clinic hours (2 NPs will see clinic) EMR: Cerner/Power Charts Hospital Privileges required: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
