Job Description:
An exciting pediatric hospitalist opportunity is now available
at an expanding program in Iowa. Work an average of 10 shifts per
month in 2 to 3-day increments with balanced weekend and holiday
coverage. In-house hours from 7:30 am to 5 pm. Call is taken from
home with in-house family practice resident coverage. The average
daily patient census is 5 to 7 in the summer and 7 to 10 in the
winter (combination of newborn nursery and inpatient). Come join 2
other pediatric hospitalists with pediatric subspecialty support.
They welcome physicians that are board certified or board eligible.
J-1 and H-1B visas can be supported. This employed opportunity has
a competitive compensation package with retention bonuses after the
1st and 2nd year. You will be offered a $20K sign-on bonus,
malpractice insurance, medical/dental/vision benefits for physician
and family, life insurance/disability, PTO, CME with stipend, a
401k retirement plan, and relocation assistance. Come live and
