As a reflection of current needs and planned growth we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our team as a Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The CMO provides strategic clinical leadership functions for Chapter, resulting in continuous innovation, differentiation within the category and unparalleled clinical outcomes. A key member of the Executive leadership team, the CMO will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of all clinical staff and provision of direct patient care. The CMO will set policies and procedures and ensure all services meet the objectives of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Directs and oversees all aspects of the clinical functions of the organization and including development and implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to clinical staff and services.
  • Participates in strategic planning and organizational development with the executive team and provides clinical expertise and leadership in the design and implementation of new projects and innovations across the system.
  • Provides leadership, strategy, and vision around practice transformation ensuring that our clinical model addresses patient needs.
  • Works collaboratively with the Finance, Performance and Operations leadership and is responsible for provider productivity to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with HIPAA, and other accreditation standards. Participates in development and implementation of quality initiatives including patient access and satisfaction, provider satisfaction, clinical outcomes and process improvement.
  • Drive a strong culture and environment that will support and enable all team members to be successful. You will foster accountability, teamwork and mutual trust and respect for all team members through mentoring and coaching activities.
  • Participates in public relations and other media as needed.
  • Serves as the primary clinical contact for internal and external partners and successfully builds, develops and maintains essential partnerships. Actively reviews evidence-based practice standards, aesthetic advances and recommends incorporating such standards and advances into the aesthetic practice.
  • Responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of new aesthetic technologies.
  • Partners with instructional design team members for subject matter expertise and/or thought partnership to ensure the quality of the learner experience.
  • Partners with Field Leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Studio Owners to establish, monitor and evaluate successful Aesthetic Care Team retention strategies.

    Requirements/Qualifications
    • Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Plastic Surgery or Dermatology with a minimum of 5 years aesthetics experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience providing medical direction and supervision of teams.
    • A valid, state-issued medical license in good standing.
    • Strategic and innovative thinker with proven ability to communicate a vision and drive results.
    • Demonstrated management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to solve problems and execute on initiatives.
    • Ability to work collaboratively internally and externally.
    • Proven ability to improve clinical business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, mentor, and train others.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate and advocate
