Position: Metal Processor Location: Sioux Falls, SD What You’ll Do As a Metal Processor, you’ll work with raw metal materials and operate fabrication equipment to prepare parts for production. Daily tasks may include: Material Handling & Preparation Load, unload, and stage metal materials (steel, aluminum, stainless steel) Measure, inspect, and verify material dimensions Use hand tools and gauges to prep parts Machine Operation Operate processing machinery such as saws, shears, deburring machines, and presses Set up equipment based on job specifications Monitor machines for proper operation and make simple adjustments as needed Quality Control Inspect materials for defects or incorrect specifications Verify accuracy before and after processing using tape measures, calipers, or micrometers Follow production orders and maintain accuracy in documentation General Production Support Assist welders, fabricators, and machine operators as needed Maintain a clean, organized work area Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements ? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
