Job Description:
RFA Engineering () is seeking a growth -oriented mid-career to
experienced candidate -to be part of our clients engineering team
in the Yankton, South Dakota area. You will work with our clients
engineering staff to provide highly engineered design -solutions
for off-road equipment using state of the art engineering tools. -
This is a direct hire position for the client facilitated by RFA
Engineering.New Product Design Engineer II
Focus on new product development of
mobile rock crushing, screening, and washing plantsPerform
engineering tasks associated with new development and continuous
improvementCollaborate with other engineers and cross functional
teams including sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and serviceUse
CAD Software to assist in the -3-D Modeling of components, sheet
metal and possibly hydraulic routings, including light analysis of
structural componentsCreate, check, and maintain thorough
engineering specifications and drawingsManage engineering changes
per establish company proceduresBe a technical resource as needed
to support other departmental needsDevelop business relationships
with customers, dealers, and suppliers which may include travel
domestic and international -Requirements -
BS in Mechanical Engineering,
Agriculture, Industrial Engineering -or related Engineering
DisciplineStrong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work
experience or hobbiesExperience with manufacturing processes
including welding, fabrication, or assembly of heavy structural
steelExcellent communication both written and verbalDemonstrated
ability to meet deadlines and commitmentsStrong analytical, problem
solving and troubleshooting skillsDesired Attributes -
Experience in 3-D Modeling Software -
SolidWorks PreferredDesire to work in an engineering environment
focusing on robust & cost-effective designs2-4 years experience
with product design, preferably off-road equipmentWhy work for
