Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a
middle school setting located in Aurora, IL. This contract position
offers a 35-hour workweek with consistent hours from 8:15 a.m. to
3:30 p.m., including a half-hour lunch break. The assignment begins
as soon as possible, with the end date to be determined based on
ongoing needs. Qualified candidates will have experience in
providing speech and language services to school-aged children,
with a caseload ranging from 42 to 50 students. This role is ideal
for licensed SLPs holding certifications such as CCC (Certificate
of Clinical Competence) and individuals currently completing their
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Prior work in school settings is
highly valuable to support effective collaboration with educators
and administrators. Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and
language assessments and evaluations for students Developing and
implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals accordingly
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support students' communication needs Maintaining accurate
documentation and IEP (Individualized Education Program) compliance
Desired qualifications and skills: SLP licensure with appropriate
state credentials Experience working with middle school student
populations Clinical Fellowship Year completion or eligibility
preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to
manage a caseload of 42-50 students effectively This role offers
