School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist opportunity is available to provide maternity
leave coverage at an elementary school serving grades K-5. This
contract position runs from April 6 through May 21, covering the
end of the school year. The role involves supporting a K-5 caseload
within a dynamic elementary school environment located in Aurora,
IL. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and
evaluations for K-5 students Collaborate with teachers, parents,
and staff to develop tailored intervention plans Provide counseling
and support services to address students social, emotional, and
behavioral needs Participate in Individualized Education Program
(IEP) meetings and assist with special education eligibility
determinations Maintain accurate records and documentation in
compliance with district policies Facilitate crisis intervention
and consult on behavioral management strategies when necessary
Qualifications and Experience: Valid School Psychologist
certification or licensure appropriate for the state Experience
working with elementary-aged students, preferably K-5 Strong
assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to work
effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication
and organizational skills Knowledge of relevant legal and
educational guidelines related to special education Location:
Aurora, Illinois (Elementary School) This contract position offers
the opportunity to support students and staff during an important
transition period, delivering vital psychological services in a
full-time capacity. Interviews and offers will be conducted as soon
as possible to ensure seamless coverage. Qualified candidates are
