Job Description Job Description Quick Lube Service Center Shop Manager Location- Huron, SD Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience) Schedule: Full-time; some Saturdays required Position Summary The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Quick Lube Service Center, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and a safe, well-run shop. This role leads the team, drives performance, and ensures company standards and procedures are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day shop operations, including workflow, staffing, and customer experience Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet performance and service goals Ensure all services are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with Valvoline standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment; place orders as needed Handle customer questions, concerns, and escalations professionally Track and report key performance metrics such as sales, labor, and productivity Enforce safety policies, operational procedures, and compliance requirements Work some Saturdays as part of the regular schedule Qualifications Previous automotive service or quick lube experience is a plus Prior leadership or management experience Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to motivate, train, and lead a team Basic computer skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $50,000–$65,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package , including: Health insurance (partial employer contribution) Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer match Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with company matching Dental and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Christmas Fund with employer match Referral bonuses Paid training and ASE certification support Employee discounts (including family and friends)
