Vern Eide GM is looking for a Reconditioning Service Technician to add to our talented crew. If you’ve got some automotive repair experience, your own basic tools, and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hire you – and soon! This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Overtime may be available, but is not required. Starting pay is $20- $24 an hour, depending on experience, with a full benefits package. You’ll be working in a climate-controlled facility (no matter the season!) that features new hoists, new benches, and no flat-rate work. Key Responsibilities Recondition incoming trade vehicles by performing inspections, changing oil/fluids/filters/wiper blades, and performing any basic repairs that the vehicle needs upon your first look. Perform light mechanical work such as brakes, tires, alignments, battery installs, fuel pumps, axle seals, oil cooler lines, and other similar repairs. Light diagnostic work may also be required. Qualifications Previous technician experience Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver’s license Must have a safe driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug screen Possess a can-do attitude and be a positive team player Willing to learn and grow Valid driver’s license with a good record Able to pass a background check and drug screen At Vern Eide GM, we value teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
