Job Description Job Description We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level RV Technician to join our service team. In this role, you'll assist in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing recreational vehicles (RVs), including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced technicians and service managers to develop your skills and gain confidence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Pay potential: $22 per hour Key Objectives: Contribute to a high-performing service team by being dependable and meeting service timelines Develop technical knowledge in RV systems, tools, diagnostics, and repairs through on-the-job training Support customer satisfaction by ensuring quality work, timely service, and a helpful attitude. Responsibilities: Inspect units for customer sales Learn and execute a Get Ready and customer orientation Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, propane, HVAC, and carpentry Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Help with the installation of accessories and aftermarket parts Document completed work accurately and assist with service records. Follow all safety standards and company procedures while working with power tools and hazardous materials. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding progress or issues with repairs. Attend training sessions and stay updated on RV systems and service practices. What you’ll bring: Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality work Have a set of personal tools The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time The ability to lift anywhere from 25 to 50 lbs with an assistive device Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays) Neat, clean, and professional appearance Ability to pass a background and drug test Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interactions Expected Results: Improve repair speed and accuracy with minimal supervision over time Demonstrate growing technical knowledge and customer service skills Contribute to increased customer satisfaction and service department efficiency Progress through Bish's RV TEC program and obtain certifications and skills Resources: On-the-job training from experienced technicians Paid training sessions and certification opportunities Personal protective equipment (PPE) and uniforms Career advancement paths within the company Supportive, team-based work culture Who we are: Bish’s RV is one of the largest family-owned RV dealers in the country.
