Job Description:
The Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging is seeking a
full-time applicant for the Executive Director position. The
position is responsible for the overall management and
administration of the Agency. This includes planning and
supervising all existing programs for the aging population in the
Agency’s 22-county service area. Applicants must have a bachelor’s
degree in fields such as public administration, business
administration, human relations, social science, etc. Four years of
full-time employment in fields such as aging, public health, social
work or related fields may substitute for the education
requirement. Applicant must have computer experience, great
organizational skills and communicate effectively and with
diplomacy. Excellent benefit package includes 100% employee only
health and dental insurance, retirement, paid vacation, sick and
holidays and other voluntary options. Starting pay is $85,000 per
year with a 5% increase after a successful 6-month introductory
period. Valid driver’s license as local travel is required.
