In this role, you will be pivotal in organizing, managing, and securing patient medical records and health information systems. Our center prides itself on a commitment to holistic health outcomes, and your role will directly support our mission by ensuring accurate and confidential handling of vital health data. Maintain, compile, and update patient records with electronic and paper systems. Ensure the quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security of health information data. Use classification software to assign clinical codes for reimbursement and data analysis. Coordinate and uphold the confidentiality and security of health information. Respond to requests for health information and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws. Contribute to clinical quality initiatives and data management projects. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software Strong understanding of medical terminology Ability to accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT codes Excellent organizational and data management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Capability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification preferred Compliance with HIPAA regulations
