Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a
hands-on Controller to lead and execute all accounting and
financial operations for a growing, operationally focused
organization. This role is ideal for a finance professional who
enjoys owning the full accounting function, working closely with
leadership, and providing clear financial insights that support
day-to-day decisions and long-term planning. The Controller will
personally manage core accounting responsibilities while ensuring
accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across financial
processes. What You’ll Do Accounting & Financial Operations Manage
all accounts receivable activities, including billing, collections,
and cash application. Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments,
and expense tracking. Create, manage, and reconcile purchase orders
from initiation through closeout. Process payroll accurately and on
time, ensuring compliance with all tax and labor regulations.
Administer the company’s retirement plan, including contributions,
compliance, and reporting. Maintain general ledger integrity
through reconciliations and journal entries. Prepare monthly,
quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports.
Planning, Reporting & Analysis Develop budgets, forecasts, and
financial projections to support leadership planning. Complete
required royalty and external reporting accurately and on schedule.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and deliver
actionable insights. Support leadership with financial modeling,
cost analysis, and operational metrics. Controls, Compliance &
Improvement Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company
assets. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial
regulations. Partner with HR on payroll reporting, labor analysis,
and benefits-related financial data. Identify opportunities to
improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting processes. Handle
additional financial and accounting needs as they arise. What We’re
Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
or Finance. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing
full-cycle accounting and finance functions. Strong working
knowledge of QuickBooks Online. Proven experience with AR, AP,
payroll, purchase orders, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations,
and financial reporting. Deep understanding of internal controls
and regulatory compliance. Ability to work independently,
prioritize effectively, and own all financial operations. Preferred
CPA designation. Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Clear
and confident communication with leadership. High level of
discretion and confidentiality with sensitive financial
