Type: Full Time - in officeShift: 9:30a - 6p training, 10:30a - 7p
after trainingCompensation: Budgeted $17 - $19.50 dependent upon
experience Responsibilities:Receive incoming calls and complete
account follow-upReceive inquiries, concerns, or complaints related
to patient accounts from patients, insurance carriers, employers,
etc.Counsel patients regarding obligations related to account
balancesReview explanations of benefits for correct adjudication
and payment according to applicable managed care contract terms and
reimbursementApply payments and adjustments to patient accounts as
appropriateReview and update patient and insurance demographics as
appropriateMaintain current understanding of applicable coding
guidelines, state and federal regulations, and managed care
guidelinesResponsible for notifying management of any trends or
denialsBasic understanding of CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS
codingResponsible for resolution and appropriate refunding of
credit balances. Includes working credit balance reports as
neededAssist with training for new and established employeesOther
duties as assignedEducation and Experience:High School degree or
equivalentPreferred :At least one year of experience in physician
office medical billingPreferred Understanding of managed

providers use to input patient data, such as medical history,
diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and test results.Patient

Software that the clinic front desk staff uses to register the
patient once they arrive for their appointment.Billing and Revenue
Cycle Management (RCM): Software that manages coding, billing and

results from X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, for our
